I need to update....
So to give a brief update of the events from the last few months...
I have a new job, though it hasn't started yet. I'm going to be working as a computer teacher for Victory Christian Academy... a school technically run by Faith Landmark Ministries... a very evangelical church. This will be interesting. Did I mention that the day I went in to sign my contract, people were in the office praying in tongues? ...Yeah.
In other news, Chris is so awesome I cannot express the awesomeness. For my birthday, he bought me: dinner, a brand new DS plus game, and a Wii plus two controllers/nunchuks and the steering wheel accessory. And then went back to Gamestop with me, got two games for the Wii and the rechargable battery and stand thing for the controllers. <3 <3 <3 And then he took me to the beach for the fourth of July and gave me this:
So yeah, it's been a good week. Though before that, Chris had his arm surgery, something I don't want to go into because I hate HATE MCV. And sleeping on a hospital chair is really uncomfortable. >.<
Anyway, that's what's been going on. More updates to hopefully follow, especially once my new job starts.

Why would your boyfriend give you a severed hand for the fourth of July?!?
Well, I certainly can't build my own zombie if they don't have hands. Unfortunately, he only found a left hand. -.- Offhand, you wouldn't happen to have a spare leg, would you?
Well, I've only got the three legs, and I'm using all of them. If you need any eyes, though, I just acquired a few sailors.
Damn. I have plenty of eyes. Oh well, I'll keep looking for legs.
For the record, I read that as "I hate MVC" which is a porn store. I was confused as to why you guys went to a porn store for surgery. I re-read it... but I still kinda like my original mental image better.
Is Chris ok?
No, no. We went to the porn store for the post-op.
And Chris is better. The staples have been out of his arm since early July and he's doing his physical therapy exercises quite easily. He hardly wears the sling anymore because he doesn't have any pain anymore.
