*twitch*

Well, so much for having a quiet day. The phone has been ringing every 5 minutes or so... *stops to answer phone* Dear callers, being on speaker phone is annoying and makes it hard to understand what the fuck you're saying. Thanks.

Anyway, this temp job isn't so bad, even when annoying people call. Beyond that, there's not much going on. I finished the 7th book on Saturday. Huzzah! Speaking of the book, my cool (hot) co-worker finished the book as well. Paul said he liked it, and we even spent a few minutes this morning being all geeky over certain parts. I like him, he's cool. It was even better yesterday when I was walking down the hall to the break room, reading the Zombie Survival Guide, and passed by him. Most of my co-workers here would have just smiled or probably given me an odd look. Paul asked what I was reading, I showed him, and he laughed geekily and nodded. *grin* Did I mention I like him?

Over the weekend, I downloaded the 1985 tv-movie version of Alice in Wonderland. Mainly because I recently read the book and decided I wanted to see it again. (That and I love Anthony Newley as the Mad Hatter. Even back then, I was an oldephile.) I mentioned this to Bob yesterday whilst playing GHE. Best line ever?

Bob: *mentions remembering a version or sequel with a dinosaur in a mirror*
Me: *without missing a beat* Oh yeah! That was the same tv-movie, but it was during the second part of the mini-series.
Bob: *dies from the fact that I understood WTF she was talking about*

What can I say? I'm a TV geek.

In other news, what'd y'all order a dead guy for?

Game Over

So the end has come and as I type this, I'm counting the hours until I lay my hands on the 7th book. ...I'm still holding out for zombies. I demand zombies in this book!

Er, what?

For those I know who play WoW *coughNinjacough* I thought I'd post about this wank, because even though I don't play Wow, it still made me go, "what."

Apparently one of the top EU guilds on WoW, Nihilum, is recruiting... except if you're female. Why? As GM Kungen said: There are alot of reasons why we dont recruit females. One of them is posted in the news..
"You can take jokes. You must have a high 'abuse tolerance' - if you're a sensitive person, Nihilum is not for you."
The real reason is that we're looking out for all females out there. No woman is safe when beastie is around...

What? No...what?! *head explodes*
